Our second Scholastic Book Fair has drawn to a close. In these times of economic trouble I thank those parents who took the time and money to visit and purchase from our book fair. We made $1241.39 for our Cameron Street Students that will infuse new books and materials from Scholastic, into our already fantastic collection.
Lucky book winners during the fair were: Savi Botello, Keith Sutherland, Tyler Wesley Weir, Colby Shears and Mrs. Nicholl's Class.
Without a dedicated group of volunteers our book fair could never run. Thanks to Shyla Howes our Coop Student from CCI. who chose to help set-up, take down and man the fair during all after school hours. She was able to tally up volunteer hours for graduation above and beyond the required number of hours which she already has! BRAVO to high school students who care!!!
Also Mrs. Mueller our adult volunteer spent many hours as cashier at the fair and checking our $'s. Thank you for you time and energies!!
Mrs. Miskell and Sarah Boucher also helped to manage the crowds during morning recess time.
Our Cameron Street Library could not function without our dedicated library helpers. The following students often help during their recess times to shelve books, rearrange books, collect books on a certain topic for classrooms or check books in or out. THANKYOU~~!!
These students helped a great many recesses and some after school hours with our most recent fair:
Trisin Worsley, David Lethbridge, Mackenzie McNichol, Shelby Cullham, Caitlin Dempsey, Tamera Sweat, Jayna Piercey, Kaden Hebb, Dylan Rennie, and Marlo Stewart.
Your care makes Cameron's Library a great place to be!!
