Cameron Book Fair Report

Thanks to our many volunteers who made our Cameron Street Scholastic Book Fair successful this year! A special thanks to Ashley, Kyra, Owen, Ryan, and Marissa who came back from CCI to lend a hand. Also a big thanks to my parent volunteer Mrs. Mueller who came every after school time and during the PA Day morning to assist us with the fair. Thanks too goes out to our library helper team who gave up recess times to help too. Some on our team were: Meghan, Riley, Amanda, Adara and Adia. Sorry if I missed your name...but recesses were busy times! Our sales were down this year which would have meant($508.52 to be spent on library books)or (35% of the $ value in books sold.) After adding money from my basic library budget, we reached the (60% level)and as a result $932.16 worth in books for our library. Lucky book winners Cameron in Mrs. Hutchinson's class, Ashley in Mrs. Hammond's class, Adara in Mrs. Colbourne's class, and the $25 worth of books each were Kate and Mrs. Sturch. Thanks to the staff and families who were able to buy books at the Scholastic Book Fair last week. Your support for your child and school are very much appreciated.
